Musculoskeletal Radiology (SPH)
The St Paul’s musculoskeletal radiology fellowship offers the opportunity to experience all the major facets of practical orthopedic, rheumatology, plastic surgery (upper limb) and neurological (peripheral nerves and spine) imaging, and an opportunity to work with sub-specialty units within these disciplines providing an excellent case mix of both advanced surgery and treatment with generalist referrals. The fellowship encompasses the broad range of musculoskeletal diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilizing all modalities germane to MSK radiology in a well equipped friendly modern department.
We are in a position to accommodate most sub-specialty interests, ranging from sports injuries, vertebroplasty and interventional fluoroscopic and ultrasound techniques to research and publication. We encourage fellows to observe the surgical procedures that we image, and interact with our referring colleagues. The emphasis will be on ensuring that the MSK fellow feels confident that they are capable of a full range of musculoskeletal interventions and diagnoses using the most appropriate modality, and hopefully enjoy the experience!
St Paul’s Hospital is located in beautiful Vancouver and is affiliated to the University of British Columbia (UBC). We would be happy to discuss your aspirations.
